Hormel Foods, Inc. presented Eric Tabbert, PE, the Hormel Foods “Partner in Quality Award” for his project management on the Dold Foods Precooked Bacon Capacity Expansion Project in Wichita, KS.
The criteria to obtain this award are to perform above and beyond normal expectations for a period of time, give special effort under a specific circumstance that benefited Hormel Foods, and to introduce a specific idea or recommendation that significantly improves Hormel’s business. Here are a few of Hormel’s comments from the nomination form:
“Eric accepted the challenges brought forward to him with a positive attitude. He had new ideas for delivering the project and reduced hassles that came up throughout the project. Eric did not shy away from tough conversations and he facilitated good communication across the project team”.
