Ready-to-Eat Facility

Advance Food Company partnered with Gleeson Constructors, L.L.C. to design and construct a state-of-the art RTE (Ready-to-Eat) facility in Enid, Oklahoma. The facility is divided into two separate areas, the raw/formulation side and the fully cooked, ready-to-eat side. With this in mind, two separate employee entrances, two sets of locker rooms, and two separate cafeterias were constructed to reduce the risk of cross contamination of the fully cooked product.

The process lines have a linear flow from raw receiving to formulation, cook, pack-off and palletizing. The product is then conveyed to Advance Food Co.’s Distribution Center. The clean room design was used throughout this facility with all utility, sprinkler and electrical lines run in the space above the ceiling with only stainless steel vertical drops to the equipment. Lighting was also recessed in the ceiling. All walls and ceilings in processing areas are stainless steel to maintain the clean design.

This project was completed on time and under budget.
