Enhanced Capacity: Brown Packing Co. contracted with Gleeson for the design-build of a new harvest floor, hot boxes, fabrication floor, welfare areas, and remodel at their facility in Gaffney, SC. These plant improvements allowed Brown Packing to increase capacity to meet customer demands.
Maintaining Plant Operations: The project was designed and constructed while keeping the plant in operation.
Food Safety First: Like any food facility that Gleeson designs and builds, putting sanitary design measures in place is paramount. There are a number of elements in this facility with this focus, including stainless steel floor drains and washable surfaces (concrete floors, IMP walls, and precast).
