Plate Freezer Addition
ConAgra Foods chose Gleeson Constructors to design and construct its Plate Freezer Project in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The project consisted of an addition and remodel which will house six (6) plate freezing cabinets. The project also includes new rack storage, a packaging line and new dock. The plant remained operational through the entire construction process.
The new engine room includes two (2) 270 HP and two (2) 222 HP ammonia screw compressors with automated monitoring and control system.
The ConAgra Frozen Foods plant produces frozen dinners sold under the Healthy Choice, Patio and Banquet labels.
